Museums and buildings
Christopher Columbus Monument. Located at the end of the Ramblas, the Portal de la Pau, built in 1888 for the Universal Exhibition in Barcelona. The lift inside will take you to a breathtaking view of the harbor and coastline of the city.
The Calvet House, the Güell Palace, the Plaça Nova, the Mercé Church, the Plaça Reial, the Tibidabo Expiatory Temple, the Tibidabo Park, the Camp Nou and the Barça Museum, the modern and colourful Glòries Tower, the Citadel Park and its Zoo, the Aquarium, the Magic Fountains of Montjuïc, are some of the main monumental options that Barcelona has to offer.

Excursions and wineries
The Monastery of Montserrat, the city of Girona, the Dalí Museum in Figueras and the Costa Brava. Visits to Cavas or wineries in the Penedès or Priorat, the Roman Tarragona or the Port Aventura Park are some of the immense tourist possibilities that Catalonia has to offer.
MONTSERRAT: One of the essential excursions for the traveller is the one that takes you to the Montserrat massif. The Monastery of Montserrat is where the Virgin of Montserrat and patron saint of Catalonia is located. Access to the Monastery can be by road, by rack railway or by cable car, with spectacular views in all cases.
The Escolania: This is the liturgical choir. One of the oldest Children's Singing Choir in Europe.
BODEGAS PENEDES: 50 minutes from Barcelona we find the capital of cava, Sant Sadurni d'Anoia. The best known wineries for their size and internationalisation such as Cavas Codorniu, Freixenet and Bodegas Miquel Torres in Vilafranca del Penedés together with other smaller and artisan cellars. All of them can be visited and their products can be tasted.
COSTA BRAVA: Golden sandy beaches, coves with deep blue waters, natural parks and medieval villages or the works of Salvador Dalí. A varied combination of possibilities to be found on the Costa Brava. A good place to enjoy the Mediterranean climate and its gastronomy.
PRIORAT: The region with the most spectacular landscapes of terraced vineyards with wineries of low production, but of very high quality. At the foot of the Montsant Mountains we will find corners with privileged views.
